Open staff positions:
Those interested in interning at CCNF should email their resume to ClimateChangeNationalForum@gmail.com. Interns can work and learn remotely and do not need to live in the Houston or Texas region. Internships at CCNF will be unpaid, but the CCNF executive director and/or staff will invest time and effort in ensuring that the intern has opportunities to develop and hone his or her skills in new media, research and writing, journalism at the nexus of science and policy, photojournalism, graphic arts, social media, search engine optimization, search engine marketing, web analytics, nonprofit administration, or nonprofit fundraising. Projects will be tailored to the intern’s interests.
If CCNF receives a substantial amount of funding or grant, CCNF interns will be paid minimum wage.
Future staff positions:
- executive director;
- director of communications;
- lead science journalist; and
- web developer.
The hiring process will begin once CCNF has raised the funds to pay the salaries of its employees for the first year of the project. Those interested can send an email to ClimateChangeNationalForum@gmail.com. We hope to get funding and begin the hiring process soon.
