Dr. Barry Lefer is an Associate Professor in Atmospheric Science and Atmospheric Chemistry and Associate Chair of the Department of Earth and Atmospheric Sciences at the University of Houston. He received his B.A. ('89) in Environmental Sciences at the University of Virginia and his M.S. ('91) and Ph.D. ('97) in Earth Sciences – Geochemistry from the University of New Hampshire. Dr. Lefer's research background includes work as a Research Scientist at the National Center for Atmospheric Research – Atmospheric Chemistry Division ('99 – '04) and Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric Research – Advanced Studies Program (97-99).
